Dance, Dance No Need For Revolution

I'm a closet dance music fan. I can't tell you the delight my heart feels when I hear a little refrain of the dance music genre float through my speakers. Suddenly I feel like I missed my calling as a Solid Gold Dancer or Britney Spear's Choreographer. Trust me you haven't seen anything until you've seen the moves the like of which I throw down, I especially pride myself on my Shimmy. For good measure I also like to mix it up with such classics as the "sprinkler" and the "random squat".

Current fav's to dance to include:

Madonna either Hung up or more especially Sorry off her new album- Confessions On A Dance Floor.

Other delights I'm currently sampling is I Like The Way - Bodyrockers. You might recognize this song from a Diet Coke commercial, but let me assure you that the full length version is so much more delightful. It just makes you want to shake your booty, and believe me, when this song comes on I sure do!

Rounding out my top 5 would be Everytime We Touch - Cascada and I Like To Move It (Jens O. Mix) - Zoo Gang.

FYI: These can double as part of a kick butt running mix- if you are into that sort of thing :)

I love that song from the diet coke commercial. Seriously, every time the commercial is on the t.v. I remember how I need to download it from Itunes. Now thanks to you I have the title. I've also been looking for new workout music, so thank you very much for the informative and entertaining post.

I was privileged to witness some of the throw down while driving with Lindsay in her car last night. She does not overstate her prowess.

Ladies, ladies, ladies…nothing compares to the Tom Jone's tune used for everyone's favorite carbonated prune juice drink — Diet Dr Pepper.

Help Yourself

"Love is like Candy on a shelf.
You want to taste, then help yourself.
The sweetest things are there for you.
Help yourself, take a few, that's what I want you to do.

We're always told repeatedly,
"The very best in life is free."
And, if you want to prove it's true
Baby, I'm telling you
This is what you should do.

Just help yourself to my lips, to my arms,
Just say the word and they are yours
Just help yourself to the love in my heart
Your smile has opened up the door
The greatest wealth that exist in the world
Can never find what I can give
Just help yourself to my lips, to my arms
And then let's really start to live.

My heart has love enough for two
More than enough for me and you
I'm rich with love, a millionaire
I've so much it's unfair
Why don't you take a share"

Oh dear. I'm not sure but I think LD has a double entendre going on here. I think, brace yourself now, that he's trying to be, gulp, romantic. Tom Jones romantic kick butt music. And you all wonder why I ever fell for him...:)
