My New Work Buddy

I have a new work buddy. We carpool, we eat lunch together and it has been amazing. Who is my new work buddy you ask? Well it's none other than miss Sydnee Nicole.

She started with Condie 2 weeks ago. Initially it was only supposed to be a temporary job, for about 3 months. I've been helping out in the accounting office but was going to go back to the front office at the end of three months. This week I decided to stay up in accounting. The office manager thinks Syd is "bright, friendly, and fun (a lot like her big sis :))" and so they offered her the position full time!

Althought she did eventually decide to take the job, I believe it was a bit touch and go at first.

As she said to me when I asked her what her reservations were, "I guess I'm just scared of committment."

Well what 19 year old isn't. Welcome aboard Syd! I'm so excited to have my bestest new work friend a permanent fixture.

Happy Mother's Day

I want to pay tribute to my wonderful mother. I love her so much. She has sacrificed so much for me and for all in her family. She has been a shining example to all of her children of what it means to be; a woman of God, a wife, a mother.

She has instilled in me the knowledge of my own worth and the knowledge that not only does she love me but so does my Father in Heaven. Precious gifts, indeed gifts that are truly priceless.

New, New, New

My life is full of new things right now. Started back with Condie this Wednesday so I'm gainfully employed once again.

Started my new classes at UVU (formerly UVSC) this week as well. I can't believe I'm going back to school after all this time.

And I got a new cell phone-so now I'm not completely cut off from the outside world.

Things are definitely going well. Special thanks to Dana and Ryan for letting me move in with them so that I no longer have to share a room with Canyon and can get some actual sleep!

This weekend has been so much fun. It's been a delight to see the nieces interact with each other here is an adorable picture that illustrates how much Canyon is obsessed with baby Penelope.

Arrived In Tucson

Arrived safe and sound in Tucson, AZ. I'm so excited to be here and see my little Penelope for the first time. No pictures of she and I to post as yet but I'll be posting some as soon as they are available. In the meantime check out Lacy's blog for some cute cousin interactions between Canyon and P'Lope.

Highlight of the trip so far? Probably not highlight but certainly most memorable was when Miley threw up all over herself and the car right outside of Pheonix. Person who benefited the most? Probably the truck driver who (despite my best shielding efforts) caught a glimpse of Miley in the altogether as she changed out of vomit covered clothing.
