I'm excited that the some of the fam are in for this fun run! In order to help some of the newbie's (and myself) I thought I'd post a website I love that gives you a training schedule so you can be ready for the big day. Click Here
As soon as info becomes available on registration for the run I'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime I think we should resurrect the running blog Really Running a Marathon Ok, so maybe it's not a marathon, but it could feel like it for some of us.
It's motivating to share our stories of training and to encourage one another. What do you all think? For those of you who want to add to the running blog and haven't been added to it I petition Lacy to add you and let's discuss.....after all if there is one thing we are all really good at it's talking about ourselves ;)

Linds, thank you for posting this site. It's just what I've been looking for. I am so excited and have been improving steadily. I thought I was all hot stuff and then some old geezer (um, like 80) passed me up this morning. He was walking, mind you, and I was running.
So who is running besides you and Auntie CS and may I join? Today was my first day at the gym in at least 2 months and having a race to train for would be the motivation I need. Also where is the race? I'm excited, now!
Dana, of course you may join, in fact we were planning on it. Lacy will be in town so I'm planning on she and Dave participating, H.B., and Meghan are also confirmed members of the Turkey Trot.
I believe the race starts at the Orem Fitness Center. There should be some more info/registration info soon! I love a family fun run :)
